The Kids Are Loving Lala

Not that I was worried (haha), but, there’s always that fear that other family’s children might not love your book as much as your own children do. Until, that is, you start getting videos from friends and followers who’s children love the book so much, they memorised each page, they read it every night, and carry it everywhere they go.

I am so overwhelmed with happiness, and love, and accomplishment.

Thank you to everyone who has purchased “Lala is a Unicorn” and are sticking with me through the journey of writing book #2.

Here’s a few photos that were shared with us …

Just in time for Christmas

Just in time for Christmas!

I wrote this book because my daughter asked me to tell her a bedtime story, which she fell in love with, and asked me to tell her the story every night for weeks on end. I had to write it and have it in book format, not only because I've always wanted to be a writer, but for my girl who wanted to see the story come to life.

Lala is a Unicorn is a book about self-acceptance and the magic of uniqueness.

I loved writing this, I love reading it to Addie before bed, and I hope you will love sharing it with your loved ones too.

Printed Book

We're almost there!

Are you excited yet? I AM!

After a few very creative months, illustrator Kumica has completed all character drafts. That’s right, all characters!

What’s next you ask? Rendering time. This process doesn’t take too long, and it looks like we’re on schedule to complete illustrations by the end of September. This means the book Lala is a Unicorn will be printed and delivered to your home by the end of October (I’m allowing two weeks for delivery because of the current restrictions now in place in Melbourne).

Here are the gorgeous dragons we’ve created for you…
