I wear many hats—mother of two, uni student, entrepreneur, storyteller. I guess you can add “author” to that mix now too.

I immigrated to Australia with my family as a child, which was a long and challenging process. With my European heritage, I experienced, first-hand, the struggle between self-acceptance and assimilating into a new culture. Through my writing and endeavours, I hope to inspire my children, and others, to embrace their uniqueness.

Amongst the chaos of young family life, I absolutely cherish the moments of silence in which I can work on my studies and penning more stories for you to read.

My Story

I started my obsession with books at a very young age. Being a creative person, I thoroughly enjoyed the process of making imaginary worlds with my pen, but also with art. I pursued my dream of becoming an author when my 4-year-old daughter asked me to tell her a bed-time story. Little did I know, it would be a story she loved so much that she would ask me to tell her this story every night for weeks on end. This story became Lala is a Unicorn. I am now in the process of writing the next book, following on from this. There are four main characters and each will have their own story to tell.

Please be sure to check out the blog page with updates on Lala is a Unicorn but also with announcements of the books to come.

If you have any questions and would like to reach out, please go to my contacts page and seek me out. I’m probably reading, writing, or playing with my children… but drop me a line anyway - I’d love to hear from you.
